Recently completed my Ph.D. and joined Raytheon BBN Technologies located in Cambridge, MA.
Previously, i was a Ph.D. student at the Language Technologies Institute, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
My research involved investigating interactive behaviors that Conversational Agents can exhibit to support Multi-Party Interaction i.e. groups of users working together on interactive tasks. My disseration is available here: "Socially Capable Conversational Agents for Multi-Party Interactive Situations". I was working with Dr. Carolyn P. Rosé while pursuing this line of work.
I have had the opportunity to develop a unique combination of research, engineering, creative and leadership skills through my formal education and social life. I hope to be able to apply all of these in my professional life.
